Description

Peaceful & Modern, Steps from Place de la République

Several incredible neighbourhoods are on your doorstep. To the south of the Place de la République, the rue du Temple takes you through the heart of the Marais. A few blocks to the north, you’ll encounter the Canal Saint-Martin and its laid-back vibe. To the west, the Grands Boulevards lead to the Opera and well-known shopping destinations.

This modern, airy one bedroom apartment is on the 5th floor (6th US) of an "hôtel particulier" originally built in 1772 as a single family mansion. Steeped in history, the building was completely renovated in the early 2000s and transformed into condo units.

The apartment is approximately 58m2 (620 sq. ft), and is accessible by elevator. Inside, our home features an open plan living / dining area with modern furnishings. A TV with streaming and Bose surround sound are ideal for quiet evenings in.

The well-appointed open kitchen is kitted out with new appliances (induction hob, oven, refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso machine, dishwasher and clothes washer).

The bedroom features a king-size bed and ample storage. The adjacent bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower.

A cozy office nook in the hallway provides a convenient work space. Fibre-speed wifi is available throughout the apartment for all your streaming / conferencing needs.

The sofa bed in the living area folds out into another king bed with comfortable sprung mattress - ideal for the occasional overnight guest, or for those travelling with children. The home also has a travel crib (pack n play) and high chair for our smallest guests.

This home is located on a historic cobblestone street and is a 3-minute walk from the République metro station. Five subway lines provide quick and easy access to the whole of Paris. Guests will be spoiled for choice with restaurants, bars, a local market, and cute fashion / design boutiques lining the streets of our immediate neighbourhood.

The apartment features double glazing and smart-controlled heating. As is the case with most Parisian period residences however, the building is not air conditioned. Dyson fans in each room provide ample ventilation for the occasional summer heatwave.
