Whether home owners are too busy to visit their vacation homes or simply want a different getaway experience, 3rd Home provides the perfect solution. Members' second homes provide more access and value than they ever imagined – to open doors beyond their second home to discover the excitement of a third home.
Members can reserve a second home any time – in advance or at the last minute – anywhere around the world. Homeowners in different markets are linked on a single Web site. They simply go online, browse, click and instantly reserve their vacations of a lifetime in a variety of settings around the globe. Our interactive site allows members to set alerts and connect with other members to plan their getaways.
3rd Home ensures that each property meets the highest levels of quality. We provide detailed information about the homes and their owners – who are also 3rd Home members – before an exchange is made.

When you join 3rd Home, you'll list your own private vacation home on the site. You'll receive key credits when another member stays at your property. The number of keys earned is based on the value of your home.
Ready to take a trip? Trade your keys for a stay at another member's property! Pay only a nominal exchange fee, and we'll transfer the required number of keys from your account to the owner of the vacation home you select.
Reservations
As the visiting guest, you'll request a booking through the website. The host owner will have 48 hours to respond to your request. If accepted, you'll pay the exchange fee and receive the host member's contact details so you can make final arrangements. If your request is declined, the keys will be returned to your account.
As the host member, you will receive an e-mail when another member wishes to reserve your property. You'll be able to see the property they own, as well as read feedback left by other owners whose homes they have visited. If you accept the request, the visiting guest will have 48 hours to pay the exchange fee, at which point keys will be deposited to your account. The guest's contact information will then be sent to you so that any final arrangements can be made.
Membership Pricing
Your two-year membership allows you to list your property and start earning keys. When you reserve a property as a guest, the only thing you'll pay is the exchange fee. There are no other rental fees for any property on the site!
Even if you only make one reservation in the course of a two-year membership, you'll save thousands compared to the cost of paying full-price rent anywhere else!
